"I'd been put off previously by the reviews, but my stay was fine. Behind the bins and building materials you can see from the entrance that this was once quite a grand hotel, and despite being a bit faded, it's very good value for money. "

"Very convenient location for flights from Gatwick North Terminal. There was no information in the room about hotel services such as restaurant menu, happy hour details, how to get to nearby amenities such as shops, restaurants and pubs. The lack of coffee with breakfast was very disappointing especially due to signage promoting its availability in the pedway connecting the hotel to the airport. "

"Stayed in the annex hotel which was not a problem. Room very compact but clean, fresh and with all amenities although no where to make a drink. Very central hotel - perfect location Hotel held our bags (although are now charging for this) Needed extra pillows and these were delivered within 5 mins of my request. Breakfast not included but close to many restaurants and bars. "

"This is the third year staying here. Fantastic service, staff cannot do enough for you. Train, underground 5 minutes walk. Buses right outside the front door."

"It was a free bee night from hotel. com , we was not treated any different, we have book to stray next month , only thing wrong in the room was the tv and the mirror need to be swapped , but that just my opinion as the settee was opposite the mirror , if we took a hot shower or bath , I didn’t know where the ventaxia didn’t work or no paperwork to tell you , how it works , but other wise the room was clean , bedding was clean , love the touch that angie done it "

"Very easy check in process with online check in, room was very clean. Very basic, good enough for an overnight stay. "

"Close to the station, super comfy bed, pillows a little too hard with no soft pillows in room but no biggie! I had an executive room so had the little extras, the lounging chair was really comfy too. A few gluten free options for breakfast, including Schär cereals, which was brilliant. Only thing would be have more gluten free bread available so you don’t run out completely. Great stay all in all "

"Really pleasant 3 night stay. Comfortable, spacious accessible room, which had the ability to have different aid con settings in each section. Great view of the planes landing/ setting off at London city airport with minimal noise. Lobby welcoming, friendly staff and plenty of spaces to relax or do sone work. Hot drinks available at various times of day. Limited evening meal menu but very hot, tasty and quite quick. Breakfast was hot and well stocked. "
