"The double room was small but very comfortable,with comfortable bed. TV channels a poor selection and unwatchable in the evening because picture kept breaking up. The pool & spa facilities are excellent! & breakfast was delicious! Over all a very pleasant stay - though somethings do need improving. "

"When I arrived, the television did not work it took a little bit for the manager to come to figure it out and when I was leaving it still didn't work it only worked for a short period of time. Also, I was supposed to have breakfast at 7 AM today I was checking out and I got down at 7:12 and they weren't set up yet. . Hotel it was all bit noisy with all the children. They have people staying there that are not official guest, which makes it a little bit challenging. The fitness center is great,...

"Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money."

"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. "Wonderful place in Westport. Christy and Margaret are wonderful hosts. Great place, nice room and a fantastic breakfast. Short walk into town-leave the car and walk into town as travel and parking in town can be nightmarish. Only negative, and this is not a deal breaker, is that the shower was a bit claustrophobic. Now I am six foot five so maybe not an issue for most people, but again, not major at all. Stay here-you won't be disappointed."
