"I cannot say enough about the most wonderful staff at this hotel. They were so friendly and accomodating. The meals were superb, and the view from the dining room unmatched. It is to be expected that it is an older building and some things are a little different, make sure if you have mobility issues to ask questions before you go. I did see wheelchair ramps. We truly enjoyed it and wish we had stayed another night or 2 to walk the grounds."

"The room was lovely and spacious and thoughtfully designed, the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made guests feel welcomed in the restaurant. We enjoyed the spa, which had a nice variety of experiences to relax and unwind, with lovely views from the outdoor sauna. "

"Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Our room was lovely with a great view of the river and the mountains. We had dinner at the property. Tasted good. Nice that they packed us a lunch instead of taking our breakfast that was included because we were leaving early. That was an unexpected nice touch."

"Beautiful guest house. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfy and stylish. Lots of tea and coffee options in the room; mine had a Nespresso machine in it this time. Staff are always so pleasant when they welcome you. This is my second time staying and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Oban. The only negative is parking. "We had a separate suite with a kitchenette. Extra space and facility with our dog. Lovely, modern and well equipped."

"A perfectly pleasant stay. However it lacks the human touch. Everything is automated and seems organised to minimise interaction between host and guest. Breakfast - all three courses at the same time left at your door - eating cereal first meant cold bacon sandwich and cold toast. Run for the proprietor not the guest. "
