"We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. "Perfect place for us. Clean & friendly, easy to communicate via whatsapp. They even provided ride from airport which made it easy. The hotel has a lounge with a view of the square. Right outside door is tram 28 which everyone wants. Cafes restaurants bars all nearby. Only thing is if noise bothers you its at a main square so its lively. The windows were thick enough that we barely heard noises but if that kind of thing bothers you. "
