"The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, but off by a block making it feel off the beaten path. The cool design is stylish and inviting, with spacious, clean rooms equipped with everything you need, including snacks that were normally priced. And a guitar, and a record player! There is even an in-room beer tap and a shower beers fridge. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The bar's selection of beers and delicious food...

"We loved the location of Leonardo Royal and the staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the main train station. There are steps and a passageway right thru the property leading up to The High Street, which has numerous restaurants, pubs, churches, and at the top, Edinburgh Castle - all walking distance. Staff were wonderful, stored our luggage until check in, offered directions and dining suggestions. Would stay here again."
