"Loved our stay at the Maritime. An older hotel that was well appointed. Beautiful welcoming lobby. Quick check in. Lovely staff. Only problem was noise from the street late at night which was Not hotels fault! "

"We had a great stay. Major subway station a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel was kept very clean and the staff who looked after our room were fabulous. Nice toiletries, no complaints at all. Also - try Goldies attached to the hotel, it’s fabulous! "

"Prompt service, clean room, comfortable bed, very good breakfast, and bar/restaurant in ground floor - but closes very early at 10 pm. Great location - loads of bars and restaurants within 4 blocks, and MSG a 10 min walk away. Nice size room but very small bathroom - good sized shower though."

"Great location. Friendly and good staff. Bathroom is tiny. The sink is like a guest toilet half sink. Could be better designed to use the space. They only serviced the room once in 6 days and you HAVE to book that service. I don't think that's acceptable when you have a family of 4 sharing a room. There's no provision at all to hang 4 towels to dry so you end up drying off the next day with a slightly damp towel. I wouldn't rush back to this hotel but I guess it was ok value for what it was. "

"Very good location, subway on same block, room was comfortable and clean. Biggest issue was a broken elevator, there’s only 2 in total, so long waits. I believe the elevator had been out for at least a week."

"It was very lively. Lots to eat around the area and a few smaller shops to pop into. There is a vintage thrift store and crystal place on the same block"

"Staff was friendly, free breakfast buffet was decent, felt safe. Rooms were very small, there was 3 of us in a 2 bed room. We were very cramped, but I’m sure all hotel rooms are the same in NY. Would stay here again. "

"When I got to the hotel on time for check in it was being renovated over so I didn’t get to go in this hotel so basically I completely got my money taken from you guys."
