"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"Very nice garden for our toddler to walk around and play with toys they provided. Staff very friendly and always ready to help , btw they gave us a free upgrade. The rooms were clean and comfortable , could use a better soundproof for the walls jus as a suggestion. The trails were amazing, but some signs need to be fixed. "This place is an oasis in the rain forest! Beautiful grounds and the staff and owner were the best! Water taxis and walking is how you get around. Ton's of wildlife and a great experience! I would call it "rustic elegance". Just one item that may bother others is there is no climate control in the rooms. That did not bother us since they all have ceiling fans, but it may be a consideration of some."
