"The courtyard area is lovely. However they play canned music out there much of the day, so if your room faces the courtyard, as ours did, then you can hear it. "We loved the location of Leonardo Royal and the staff. Hotel is a 10 minute walk (with luggage) from the main train station. There are steps and a passageway right thru the property leading up to The High Street, which has numerous restaurants, pubs, churches, and at the top, Edinburgh Castle - all walking distance. Staff were wonderful, stored our luggage until check in, offered directions and dining suggestions. Would stay here again."
