"Wonderful breakfast, lovely room. A bit of mix up regarding city tax that was collected upon checking in and again at check out. No one informed us the tax was per night. I would have thought all taxes would have been collected at check in."

"The property was in a convenient location for the ferry port, which we used for transportation from Crete to Athens. The hotel staff were excellent and always helpful. The only drawback is that it is hard for any tour transportation to pick us up at the hotel. "

"The hotel is right beside the Archeological Museum and within walking distance of many other attractions. Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back. The hotel has a slightly older feel to it, but our room was spacious with a good balcony, although a small ensuite bathroom; the bed was...

"Air conditioner didn't work at all. We have to open windows on a balcony and starting 4 am garbage machines creates huge noise, than cats were screaming. Can't sleep at all"

"If you are looking for a small town Crete experience this is a good place for that. Everyone was friendly, the house was cute and looked like the pictures. The hosts dinner recommendation, a short walk away, for Ethimiko, was very good. The only real issue we had was that the WiFi was not connecting in the room. If you want a disconnected experience this is your spot. The host did let us know they are working on getting a router for the room so this may be fixed soon. "

"The room was basic and a little dated, although the bathroom had been upgraded and was very nice. I was disappointed there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Pool and restaurant were both lovely. Breakfast choices were excellent and varied. All in all a great stay."
