We waited in the Nook bar for ages for a drink. The server was rude and the table wasn't cleaned. We were planning to have dinner in the restaurant but after waiting for a table we decided to take a cab and go elsewhere.

If it weren’t for the two workers at reception I would have left immediately. There was no air conditioning in our room and the windows didn’t open so by the time we left there were two small fans in the room. Sadly I believe the condition of the air got me and my travel partner sick with 5 more days of travel to take. I can’t stress enough how incredible and understanding the staff was but the actually living situation was below average.

Amazing stay!
The room was absolutely stunning. Had a vintage feel but yet so cozy. Everyone was so kind especially the person checking us in. She was so informative and so kind to my family and I. We loved the customer service at this location and will highly recommend to anyone. Perfect location as well. We were in the center of it all!

Super for a few nights - great location!
Overall, we were very happy with our three-night stay at this hotel. The location is excellent - central but off the main drag so it was quiet in the evening. Our room was really spacious and had just enough furniture for comfort. The bed was very comfortable; in fact, it was the best night's sleep I've experienced in a hotel for quite some time. The decor was simple, but fine. The bathroom was fully kitted out and big enough. We had a bath with a shower over it, which was fine for us but may be a consideration for those with accessibility issues. Slight grumbles include that the bathroom had some black mould on the ceiling and the mirror was very rusty (not a good look!). Not really a negative, but maybe something that could be improved is the outside areas. Our room was on the lower ground floor and the window looked out onto a very small close with stairs leading up to the terraced gardens. The close is seriously neglected, with a lot of rubbish just lying around. It wouldn't take much to tidy this small area up and stick in a couple of flower pots to cheer it up a bit. There is also huge potential with the larger garden area - it all feels a bit neglected and tired - a real missed opportunity to make the hotel feel like a more boutique/luxury experience.
