Kepi has thought of everything you might need from beach towels and chairs to a hard sided cooler with freezer packs. "If you're looking for a no frills beach bungalow, this is the place for you. I loved the beach cottage feel and the location was perfectly nestled across the street from the ocean and near many restaurants and shopping. I especially loved the lobby/office kitty that greeted me upon arrival with purrrrs and greeted me again at check-out. It had a warm and pleasant atmosphere filled with Aloha.🌺"

"Everything was very modern and clean. It would be nice if there was a kitchen sink or basin in which to wash our dishes. A simple coffee machine would work better than a Keurig machine as there was only one pod per day and we enjoy a few cups of coffee throughout the day. A few extra utensils would also be handy as we like to cook our meals."

"This property was like returning to my childhood memories. I was raised on Oahu. I remembered the sights (neighbors, furnishings, streets), sounds (dogs, chickens, people upstairs), scents (plants & flowers) of growing up in the islands. Great friendly hosts. Good kitchen for cooking at home. Definitely would stay again. It helped that I lived in Hilo for 6 years so I knew my way around. It was like staying with family. "

"This was our second trip to this property and time & the owner's pride in it has only made it better. We never tire of visiting Kilauea when we visit the Big Island and Jim's lodging is only about a mile from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park. "Beautiful private spot. Easy to get to, but away from most traffic. It is apparent the hosts enjoy people and making them comfortable. Lovely paintings done by the hostess. Most of the grounds are gorgeous gardens with beautiful evening lights. This is the cleanest place we stayed on the entire island. Pride is taken in every way. Highly recommend"
