"We had a wonderful stay at The Jungalow! The property was perfectly located, close to the Volcano National Park and in a lovely neighborhood. The house itself was immaculate and very cozy. My entire family loved it. We were sad to only stay one night, if we make it back we would absolutely stay there for longer. Highly recommend The Jungalow!!"

"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). "The house was spacious and over nice. One room had mold and could not be slept in due to the smell. They had a dehumidifier in the room, but did not eliminate the smell.. The house was mostly clean, but could use a little extra cleaning, bathrooms and kitchen especially.The owner is very nice and very good with communication. We enjoyed the location of the house, at the end of the street, so not any traffic. The only other thing was we had 7 adults and 2 children and they left out 6 towels for...

"Loved everything about the rental. Manager communication, location, view, amenities, pool, house format. As the manager states, the driveway is a bit steep but that was not an issue for us. Our kids loved the lizards in the volcanic walls. Everything we came up with a need for was already there. It was a very relaxing week, as Hawaii should be."

"The property was great. Clean. Functional. Comfy. Based on the pictures we were looking for a place a little more away from neighbors and this isn’t that. Neighbors are right close because the property is long and narrow BUT the way the yard is bordered by trees/other plant life you do get privacy. I feel like a picture of the parking area would make the house easier to find so you would know what you are looking for street side."

"We really enjoyed the rainforest retreat. We had a lot of rain so didnt get to enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked. House had all of the amenities you would ever need. Only complaint is the center cushion in the couch was broken, but there were 2 other comfortable chairs to sit in."

"Beautiful home and surroundings. Absolutely peaceful. No traffic, leaf blowers, loud neighbors, barking dogs. Sitting on the porch watching the sunset and the owners cool animals. Great place to relax and get some rest. Plenty to do close by. One of the best vrbo’s we have stayed in. Even comes with a decent guitar and a very nice bass ukulele. "Nice clean updated home near Keaau (Hawaiian Paradise Park). Quiet neighborhood. Centrally located between Hilo and Volcano National Park made for a great place to explore the east side of the island. Hilo Farmers Market was worth checking out. Rainbow Falls was nearby as well. Volcano National Park was an awesome experience. Shopped at local grocery store and cooked on the grill on the back porch. If you're planning a trip to this part of the Big Island, I can recommend this...

"The views from both lanais are amazing! We enjoyed several evenings sitting outside enjoying the sunsets. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to dine in. I would definitely stay here again."

"It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. "Check in was snow, the room guaranteed by 4:00 pm, I was there at 3:40pm and they won’t let us to the room till 4:00pm, this resort didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner, it is kind of weir."
