"My friend and I first time in Los Angeles. We found the hotel through Expedia. I’m so glad to choose this place. Michael so friendly and helpful. Housekeeping also nice when I asked for water and toilet paper. They have cafe at the corner and really convenient. We have been using an Uber, Lyft to go around town, a bit pricey but if you like the locals buses you could save money for other things. Overall Hollywood Historic Hotel has been a great place for us. "

"We always enjoy staying at the Adler. This time when checking in they did not have the king bed room we requested. When we told them the room with 2 queen beds was fine they comped us a free night of valet parking for our troubles. Just what we would expect from the great staff at the Adler!"

"We were in town for the tcm film festival and it was pretty close to all the theaters which made it easy to get to where we needed quickly and without using a rideshare. The room was fine and comfortable enough for our needs. Some of the things in the room could be replaced like the toilet paper holder - it was rusty and pretty rough looking. The paint job in the room looked rushed, but those are small issues. We will probably stay again when we return for the festival, the location was...

"By far the worst customer service I ever experienced. She was difficult, cold, and gave minimal effort. I almost felt like I was bothering her by checking in. And god forbid I had a question.. I was better off winging it. The room's heater didn't work, so I had to ask for an extra blanket but it was such a task to engage with her, I avoided it til the cold was unbearable. I got my blanket, but not before she yelled at the maintenance guy to bring it to me- it was seriously uncomfortable to...
