"The public areas are gorgeous. Downstairs there is a lounge with generous snack options as well as onsen.I'm in a wheelchair and my needs are unique. "My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. "The hotel has very nice location close to Kyoto station, has nice views from the room, the windows can be opened for fresh air. The double rooms are too small for 3 people even the premium room on high floor. The bathroom is small as well, but other facilities- lobby, breakfast are fine. It was too crowded at breakfast time, there is a waiting line for min 10-15 minutes.."
