Fully modern with all of the amenities one would expect for a hotel in its price range, including air conditioning. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and an excellent on site restaraunt and bar. The Dublin Castle, St. Patricks Cathedral, Guiness Store Front and many other major attractions are all walkable if you are reasonably healthy. "
