"This is a tidy, clean home located about half a mile uphill from Portmagee Main Street. There are 4 rooms for rent within. We assumed our room would have an en suite bathroom but our private bath was accessed by the hallway. The room was small but had a nice bed & welcome basket. Continental breakfast served in cheery room at the front of the house. Off-street parking. Andy was very helpful. Not enough hot water for all of us guests to shower in the morning."

"We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time! "Very remote property. Perfect for someone who wants to be far from everyone and everything. Beautiful home. Very scarce internet. Not great water pressure in some rooms. Beautiful views. TV does not work. Couches do not recline."
