"We had a wonderful time staying here for a week while house hunting in Anchorage. The one bedroom apartment was cozy and beautifully decorated. I loved the fireplace was automatically running to maintain the set temperature. We very much enjoyed the view especially at night when the city lighted up in dark. We rented an AWD and got stuck once in slush but Windy and her husband helped us to get uphill. We appreciated their help!"

"This cabin was amazing! From the location to the decor. We chose it because of how close it is to Alyeska. It did not disappoint. It was the perfect rustic mountain log cabin feel with more than enough amenities. From the 2 soaking jet tubs to the game meat store next door. Theres peacocks that roam the property, even in winter were a pleasant surprise. It's secluded with a view. The host was very responsive and able to help us with a couple special requests. 11/10, would recommend! "

"The room had just been cleaned when we checked in. The chemicals were very strong smelling and my husband had a difficult time breathing due to the smells. The bathroom fan is obnoxiously loud and it turns on automatically with the bathroom light. There were not any screens on the windows. We had the windows open all night to let the smells out and all sorts of bugs got in. The view was beautiful. "

"The apartment at Arctic Fox Inn was just what we needed - on the first floor, spacious, full kitchen, clean, furnished and with all the needed amenities. The area was very convenient as well to explore in/around Anchorage. Our door code wasn't set as expected on arrival, but the staff were quick to resolve this so I was very happy with their service and the overall accommodation. I would recommend for a stay in Anchorage. "

"The room was very clean...But needs either a comfy love couch or a couple lounge chairs. Fold-up chairs are uncomfortable to sit in at any length or time. The outside entrance could look so nice by hiring a gardener to clean up aroun the storage sheds."

"The manager John is really nice and takes good care of you. There are plenty of motels in the area, but you just can't beat the price for this one. I've stayed here 3 times since I've been on my camping trip in Alaska and I've always been comfortable. This motel is like a coss between a hostel and an inn. There is no breakfast served, but there is a common kitchen for cooking. Not all the rooms have bathrooms in them, for some if the rooms you have to use the bathrooms in the hall. The beds are a little firm, but still comortable. One room I had, room 110, had a backward faucet for the hot water so cold was hot and hot was cold...but it wasn't a problem once I figured that out. Overall, it's graat little inn, and my favorite one in Anchorage. I would stay here again. "
