"We got lucky and found a street parking spot right in front of the property. Once we arrived there was no one there and we couldn’t find our room. We had to call the emergency number and after about 10 minutes on the call with them, we found it. It would be nice if they put clear markers for all rooms. We were facing to road and an ally so we opened our windows to let the cool breeze in. The room was perfect! Also, there is an Indian restaurant near by that I would highly recommended!!! "

"Proximity to the rest of Edinburgh was fine. We enjoyed the time in the room at your hotel. We walked all the way down to it from near the Royal mile; the visit was enjoyable."

"The property was well kept for the most part. Very convenient to bus lines to Old Town. Area seemed safe to walk around -residential. Water pressure in shower was very light. Not enough to wash long hair. But beds were comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. "

"We had a lovely spacious twin room, very comfortable and clean, nice bathroom. A bit of confusion over breakfast - I wasn’t expecting any, as none mentioned when booking, but there was information in the room that said breakfast was 8-9am - clearly an old sign but it wouldn’t take much to remove this and put a new one up. We had no trouble parking in the side street just round the corner, as we only stayed overnight, but this might be more of a problem if you were there during the day because...

"Great location for exploring Edinburgh, city centre is easily walkable. Arrived late due to transport issues and host was very accommodating. Room was downstairs so no windows, but was clean and a nice place to stay in. Private bathroom wasn’t en suite which wasn’t an issue, but I feel like this could have been made clearer when booking. Other than that, great price for a very convenient location. "
