"We had a lovely stay at the Martis Palace Hotel. It was close to shopping and a variety of restaurants. A grocery store and pharmacy were within walking distance in case you want to purchase some water/snacks or if you forgot a needed toiletry. Many attractions were in close walking proximity and/or, the very attentive hotel staff, was more than willing to contact a taxi for your convenience. "It was a really quirky and interesting hotel, very clean, and the staff desk staff were very helpful. The one weird thing was that I left the "do not disturb" sign out for my whole one-week stay and someone came in and cleaned the bathroom and replaced towels that were not on the floor while I was out one day.
