"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. For us a little too remote and we liked to be back before dark...

"2 couples from Canada, stayed for a month. This was the perfect place for us. Outside Puerto de la Cruz however within walking distance. Local district had many places to eat and drink. Discount grocery was a short walk, butcher and fruit shops close by. Bus stop out front was nice for getting around. Solid charming working kitchen. Would love to return some day."

"The house was perfect for our six week holiday. We loved the location but be advised that it’s about a mile from town. There’s a bus stop very close but we chose to walk. It’s located very near a butcher shop that has excellent meat and near a small grocery store that has many things. We loved the outdoor space, took advantage of the kitchen most every evening and slept well in the comfortable bed. It was quiet and peaceful and the bird songs were beautiful to listen to. We loved everything...

"This villa is amazing, we went with 14 people and we had a great time. The decor is old-fashioned in the best way, it feels like an old Spanish holiday villa, which is what we wanted. THere are a couple of bakeries within walking distance which were great, and walking down to the sea for a swim & a beer was lovely way to spend an afternoon. Only minor criticisms are that it's on a main road, so the room at the front can hear the traffic. You'll also hear planes overhead (though this is because...

The communication with the agent was first class, clear, helpful and prompt and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble for her. "A wonderful well stocked and perfectly situated upper floor villa in a charming holiday village. Lovely views and a great space for up to 4 adults. A little tricky to find - but you can work out a what3words location before you go and navigate there. Only minor point is that there is only enough hot water for 3 quick showers as solar heated (and the weather wasn’t that great when we were there). Overall amazing and would definitely return."

"we have stayed at the small one three doors down, so this time we has the same view but more space. the roof is better - more private, there's a screen. the downstairs balcony is better too, quite a bit bigger, and less sea spray since it's slightly higher up. the rest was equally brilliant - the view, the sound of the sea, the access to the town. It's just a great place to stay."
