"I have stayed at the Esplanade several times over the years. It changes little but always seems fresh. I noticed they have dropped the door keys with the large tassels for tap keys. Shame but it will not stop me stayong again! This is a top European elegance hotel. Rooms are large. I was recognised and upgraded. It has a lovely terrace and memorablr breakfast. I look forward to my next stay. "

"Great location and well appointed rooms. Close to the bus station which we had to use. The front desk staff were very helpful and eager to help. We dined in the hotels restaurant and were pleasantly surprised how good the food was and how reasonably priced. I would stay there again. Robert"

"Close to Zagreb station. Facilities. Good staff. The only thing we didn’t like was that the pillows were new and too deep, but that should not be a permanent problem. Everything else was perfect."

"My husband and I stayed three nights at the Westin. Overall the stay was good but we were first surprised by the big deposit they asked us to pay at check in as this was not communicated before by the property. When we first walked into the room we noticed stains and dirt on the bed sheet, not something you would expect from a chain like the Westin, however we asked them to change the sheets and they did right away. The hotel is at close proximity to all attractions in the city."

"The hotel is contemporary & minimalist. The room is comfortable, spacious, lots of shelves, room temperature can be controlled by customer. Dinner was good at the hotel restaurant & buffet breakfast was reasonable. Free parking. Highly recommended."

"The staff were lovely and the stay was overall good. The property is just a little run down and out dated. If that doesn’t bother you at all then it is a fine stay. We were only staying for the night before catching a flight so it served it’s purpose for us. Close to the airport. "
