"Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent-hot breakfast and cold items, lots of choices. They had a small lobby bar where you could get food and drinks for dinner without having to go out. Nice grounds for walking the dog around. Pet friendly. A very nice hotel."

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! 1. They moved someone else into my room after I checked in. 2. They charged me AGAIN for the room I already paid for through Expedia when I CHECKED-IN. And refuse to refund it. 3. Pool was under maintenance. 4. The room they originally put me in matches the pictures, when I had to be moved, we were put in a room where the toilet didn’t flush, junk in the shower drain, tiles coming off wall, hole behind toilet, and other issues. 5. When I asked for refund and cancel second night, Ronelle was understanding and nice. Stating she understood and would have Brittany issue refund. Expedia refunded me based on this conversation. But The Dakota is refusing to refund the charge they put on my card for the room when I checked in because they are saying it was for the NIGHT BEFORE I GOT THERE. "
