"Great place to stay didn't care for the breakfast it was pretty uninteresting and Bland dining room is way too small for the amount of people I would not recommend the breakfast"
"The rooms were fairly large, and appear to have been recently renovated. A sofa & chair sitting area was a nice amenity, as were the two large well-lighted counters, one inside the bathroom, and other just outside. The hotel location was a little farther than ideal from downtown Bend, but still walking distance. "
"Great customer service. Had my original reservation and then booked an additional day for the prior day. When I needed to move rooms, they were able to get me in the new room before 10:30 and didnt make us wait until regular check in. This was so much appreciated so we didnt have to pack everything back up into the car. Clean rooms, nice pool, great area, good dining. Will definitely be back again. "
"When booking make sure you pick the River Lodge - a lot of the properties have similar names. I was so afraid it would be noisy but I’m convinced the people reporting noise were at a different location. I stayed at the River Lodge on a busy weekend in August and it was super quiet & tranquil. On Friday night I did hear some music coming from the nearby Mt Bachelor lawn but it was done by 10pm (& luckily I actually liked their playlist so it worked out).
The amenities were lovely - robe, slippers, bath salts, microwave & mini fridge for my cocktails, special hot tub just for River Lodge guests…the fitness center was less modern and smaller than I expected BUT has full indoor courts if you like that, and plenty of running/cycling trails. I didn’t try the hotel food or pool, but enjoyed the view of the golf course from my private deck. Bed was comfortable, the bathtub was deep & roomy, and shower had great water pressure! Cute nespresso machine made excellent coffee & the concierge kept me fully stocked. Highly recommend!"
