"Loved the guest house. The staff were amazing, especially Moka. She was very helpful and kind and the first evening she made us takoyaki. The only downside is that it's a bit far from downtown. However, with the subway nearly everywhere it's really accessible including Yokohama, so it wasn't that bad. The area is nice and quiet and very safe. I will definitely come back."

"The entrance did look like something different than I expected.... So narrow to hide my boyfriend/girlfriend and myself... I wanted to keep luggage before check-in, but nobody appeared at the check-in desk, which had so small window staffs can hide their faces! Similar as a Japanese typical pachinko prize counter. Although I found a CCTV camera there, I wonder if I was monitored. What were they doing? After I checked in and entered my room, loud music there! How could I turn it off? Its...

"Had a very good vacation for many days here. Anytime I had questions, they would respond kindly. I was very grateful for having control of my room temperature. I was able to stay cool during hot summer days. My only warning for future customers is to bring earplugs if noisey nights are an issue. Emergency vehicles are across the street and many motorcycles like to make extra noise as they drive by. But that is not the fault of the B&B. I am glad I stayed at this place and will reccomend to...

"No staff on site, very noisy entry door can be heard all night by all guests on the first floor. Bedsheets has hair from another person suggesting they hadn’t been changed. Also, foreign residents of Japan are discriminated against at check-in by asking for passport information, which we are not required by law to provide. "

"This is a cute 60-year old Japanese house tucked away in a funky part of Yokohama filled with small bars (including my favorite jazz bar). The home has been remodeled in a way that keeps the charm of the old house, but has the conveniences of a modern international hotel (easy shower, Toto, speedy wifi). They also are great hosts and have a nice small lobby where people can hang out. The rate is very reasonable and personable compared with a capsule hotel. "
