"Quaint, comfortable and clean. Quiet surroundings, but conveniently located to Marlinton and the state parks. Would stay here again."

"Hotel is much older and some work has been done to maintain and update but more is needed. The landscaping was well maintained but trash was left up against walls as outdoor trash cans were overfilled from clients cooking meals on little smokers. Carpets need to be replaced due to odor, blankets are old with holes, and painting was considered a repair without the prep work done. The location is convenient but it will need lots of maintenance."

"We liked it as it suited our basic needs for a bike trip on the Greenbriar. It’s a small cozy place. We made it work for us. Would have liked to know about the microwave ahead of time as the listing nor photos did not show it. We might have planned a few things differently knowing it was there. All in all good. No complaints "
