"Nice clean and cheap hotel as advertised. Staff friendly and quick check in. Rooms are decent size although separate wash hand basin in room was a bit odd. Air con functional which was good as warm nights. The breakfast is good selection and no complaints. The only downside I found was location which I hadn’t realised is almost as an off shoot of main roads, between a McD and a petrol station. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. "This hotel has an incredible location beside amazing Chateau Anjou. It is also close walking distance to the wonderful shopping and restaurant district. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I will always try to stay here when I am in Angers."
