"My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. "

"Unfortunately Rosemout did not live up to our expectations. The room was described as De Luxe but didn't exhibit any of the expected characteristics of "rich, elegant, or sumptuous; superior in quality, number of accessories". There were no lamps on the bedside tables, no cups with the tea and coffee facilities which was probably just as well as the coffee sachets were at least two years out of date. The room was cold.
