"Good hotel for the weekend. Breakfast was in the cafe which was lovely. Room was quite newly refurbished and all you needed for the weekend. "

Other than that, the service provided was attentive and the staff was well informed so passed on relevantbtips for us. The garage availability was a blessing for keeping our belongings out of the public eye."

Struggled to get hot water either morning and given an old property it's not well sealed from internal noise. For the price, it's good value. "

The location is very good - right next to the beach and surf school. There are several supermarkets in the walking distance. The hotel has a laundry, but does not have Wi-Fi. "It is a very small family run hotel, only 5 rooms. Easy for Santillana del Mar. Off road parking. Great view from bedroom. Very nice owner. But the big advantage is a comfortabe bed and absolute quiet. I slept through to the alarm at 8, considering i am typing this at 4.00 am in my next hotel shows just how unusual it is to sleep that long!"

"Although check in seemed a little confusing at first - You just need to go to the first floor and knock one of the two doors that open to reception eventually. After that it was quite easy to check in. The place was very clean it was reasonably priced and the people they were very friendly. There was a salon where you could make tea / coffee heat up meals in the microwave if you wish and a a table to sit at with cutlery plates et cetera provided."
