"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooftop and social spaces really capture the energy of Panama City, and the hostel’s activities make you feel part of a community from day one. A place that’s not just about where you sleep, but about the experience you take with you."

"They actually told me to park on the sidewalk, which was barracaded. Parking elsewhere in the área is $70 per day, twice what the room costs. It was cheaper to abandon my no-refund réservation for another hotel with free parking"
