2 Star Hotels in Southern, Tasmania

"Good for a short stay because it’s right in town and felt safe. I wished the wifi extended into the sleep pods but it was probably better for my sleep cycle to not have access to internet in bed!"

"Room had a musty smell. Extremely bright in the room from the lights shining in from the carpark & the sun in the morning (so pack an eye mask). Walls are thin - can hear your neighbours & cars. There wasn’t any toilet paper in the room & there was no housekeeping so I had to go buy some. Bed was relatively comfortable & shower good - which is all I really needed. 15 min walk to Salamanca square. So decent location if weather is good."

"Bathroom down the hall was very inconvenient"

"Veey friendly well run, will definitely be back if ever in tassie again"

"Clean room"

"Cheap and cheerful, very eclectic (which suits me). The staff were lovely and helpful. Microwave in the room was great so we could make good coffees in the morning."

"Check-in is at the Pizza shop below the rooms. Rooms are clean but basic."

"I was told to book on the sunday and come at 12pm there was a bed in a dormitory for me. I arrive to the guy who was suppose to be in reception outside smoking. I called the mobile number it was the same guy who was outside smoking, he came in and said to me we do not take bookings Sundays after telling me on the phone to book and come. I wasted money on ubers because he wouldn't give me my bed that I had paid for. Absolutely terrible service. He couldn't care less."

"Very clean and tidy room with clean amenities. Staff very helpful and friendly."

"We liked our stay here! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and great gateway to national parks in the area. We appreciated the little kitchenette area by the entrance and the shared toilets were clean. "

"Fabulous location. Comfy, well equipped, clean, modern room. Great TV, comfy bed. Only suggestions, mugs as well as the small cups. Longer shower curtain, but minor details. Thanks for light Brekky toast etc. We will stay again."

"Lovely place , closed to the water definitely will come back again "

"excellent"

"Perfect location. Lovely house, nice and spacious, clean. Will stay again"

"Nice and quiet unit in Coles Bay. Laneway to beach runs at back of property which was good to get down to beach. Did the hike to Wineglass and finished the day with pizza at local restaurant. Beautiful landscapes!"

"Everything was clean and tidy, the host was lovely, and the house and grounds were stunning."

"The unit was very comfortable, clean and had everything needed for our 2 night stay. Lovely to come back to after a hike up Mt Amos to get great views of Wineglass Bay. Loved it had a huge bath. Highly recommend"

"Good location to stay over for a Maria Island trip."

"From the cows to the well appointed kitchen to the spectacular birdlife and beautiful surrounds this location has it all and more. To sit on the veranda with a coffee at a place like this ticked one off my bucket list. "
