"Nice hotel in a good, walkable to restaurants/pubs location."

"Lovely staff, good food, large comfortable room. In the middle of the little town, a short walk from the castle grounds, which are worth a stroll round, and the shops."

"This B&B is FANTASTIC! Beautiful room, immaculately clean, wonderful hosts that went above and beyond, can’t be happier with the stay. Lovely breakfast in the morning, and great spot in Athlone."

"Breakfast was fantastic "

"Paul at the reception was very helpful and put us at ease with our stay. Peaceful destination and beautiful grounds."

"Beautiful property for relaxing in. Warm, clean and gorgeous views. Well equipped with all we needed for our stay. "

"Unfortunately it took a while to understand how the heat for the showers worked. Also towels were only replaced once during the week and we had to wash our own towels at the laundry facilities. "

"We had a wonderful stay. James, the property owner was very kind and helpful. It is a lovely area. We stayed and took day trips to Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher. If you are visiting the area, I’d definitely recommend it. "

"Beautiful property, welcoming, great breakfast "

"Great, central location in Ireland. Could drive to Galway, Clanmacnoise, Rock of Cashel, Burren, Dublin area easily and be back. All within two hours, some even 20 minutes. Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. Beds basic and comfortable, price was great for family budget! Thanks Sean!"

"best breakfast of our trip so far, thank you!"

"Nice hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"This hotel is very nice, centrally located. The breakfast was very nice, including hot foods."

"Wonderful, fabulous, kind, clean, spacious and a warm and friendly environment and host! Can't wait to return "

"Staff very friendly & helpful. Water in the taps was lukewarm not cold and the food in the bar was excellent but was charged full menu price instead of the early bird offer. Would Stay again as very convenient if visiting Athlone."

"Lovely welcome from real family business. We didn't eat in the evening but the Tapas looks excellent. Breakfast was as your mother would make it. Room was large and comfortable. It is an old Georgian building so don't expect 4* but do expect a lovely stay in this unique Georgian Town with its quirky history and lovely streets. Will be back again soon."
