"This was such a delightful retreat. We loved the history behind the inn and the family feel. The staff was helpful in finding hikes for us. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious, and the service staff were very attentive. If you're looking for something modern and chique, this is not the place. There’s only 1 washing machine and dryer though, if you’re unlucky you may have to wait 1.5 hours for the drying cycle to end."

"Cute boutique hotel but our timing was a bit off. Lots of noisy construction going on during our stay. The place next door had a backhoe digging much of the day and the restaurant at our hotel was being renovated. Noisy until 6:30 pm during the weekdays. We spent our days hiking so wanted a quiet place to rest in the afternoons. No AC so we really needed the door open to our balcony but the noise was overwhelming. Very nice staff and they served a lovely buffet breakfast in a tent in the front. Close location to the town center with lots of restaurants and shops."

"Great place. While the hotel is a bit far from the town center there is a bus stop nearby, which is convenient. There is also a trail nearby to walk to town (nice if it isn’t raining). The breakfast they offer is excellent and convenient. Just a warning unrelated to this hotel, DON’T GO TO DINNER AT THE HOTEL DES ALPES, which is across the street. While it may seem convenient, we regretted going there. Staff were very strange and off putting and the food was underwhelming and overpriced."
