"Booked the room for a 3 night stay in Thessaloniki with 3 people. I assumed the room would be large enough to make it work, but the room would’ve been on the smaller side even for two people. The biggest complaint I have is with the temperature control in the room. It seems like there is no AC in the room, just a fan trying its best. "This was my second stay at the Caravan. It is a wonderful hotel. Staff (a big Thankyou to Artemis) were again delightful. Room 41 has a lovely terrace and worth the extra cost. Breakfasts are really excellent but do not over order! Helping are huge! Hotel is in easy walking distance from many of the city centre sights and good places to eat. 30 mins on the nearby bus X1 to the airport "

Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above...
