"These rustic, well-maintained cottages are spacious, clean and secure. I enjoyed having a full kitchen including a modern fridge to myself - perfect for self-catering. Moala, the manager, is friendly and accommodating. The place is just a short walk from the Palolo Deep Marine reserve and nearby restaurants. I recommend snorkelling out (or use the available kayak) from the sea edge close to the cottage - the reef out there is just as pristine as the marine reserve. I stayed once before and came...

"Overall a good stay but would highly recommend a restaurant at the property. I had to walk out of the hotel to look for food and mostly restaurants are closed during the weekend. "

"There is a long driveway from the road that leads to the hotel property however there are no road side signs telling you where to turn in so even with GPS it's easy to miss. "

"The noise from some of the quests in the hotel went till 2:00am in the morning need to look into it and control by the hotel. The breakfast need to improved a little bit as well. Overal the rooms are very accomodate and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Thank you Alec's Hotel."

I tried contacting the number listed but it’s an incorrectly listed number so we weren’t able to get directions to the home. An Expedia agent tried to as well and couldn’t get in contact with the place neither. We finally found the house after asking around the village for this place only to finally find the place and meet one of the property managers on site, and the manager was shocked that we had booked online as...

"We stayed for a week in the over water bungalow. The bungalow is showing its age, however still really comfortable. This is five star location, with the balcony over looking the ocean. The air conditioning worked really well and the room is equipped with a fridge that stayed cold, coffee making facilities and towels. We will miss this place and would definitely return "

"Love that the staff were so friendly, were so nice and welcoming to family and friends that came around to visit us(didn’t mind that we had few drinks by the pool side) Walking distance to Sunrise restaurant and markets. Nice and quiet, barely realized the time until staff came and delivered breakfast 😂 chatted with staff like we’ve known each other for years. Perfect aircon system that kept us going haha. "We did have a silent night until the cleaners make noises but we told them it’s too noises outside while we try to take a nap but they answered back with nonsense behavior but my husband told her that he will inform the manager but she said go ahead. Poor service and unpleasant people need to hired people who know how to create people and welcome them with warmth welcome. But I hope this place will be better next time. "
