"It was fine, nothing special or terrible. We never received the check-in email, but luckily someone was onsite to let us in. That was literally our only interaction with staff. Walk across the bridge to get into town, and if traveling with kids, there is a cute little park with exact (but scaled for kids) replicas of many of Portugal's (and it's current and former colonies) most famous sites, almost across the street. "Our room was very clean and large. The staff worked so hard everyday to make it a geat experience. We didn't realize the driving and parking situation in advance. The rooms are located on a very narrow steep hill. I'm not a stunt driver, so we parked in a lot a few streets below and took an elevator up. The views are amazing. Its a great place to stay!"

"The location is very central and stuff super helpful. Rooms small but have everything. Very good value. The only problem is that due to construction on the street there was no way to even unload the luggage , we had to park several blocks away and walk with our bags."
