"Stay here! This place is great. It's a great understated hotel if you don't need to be bougie and are trying to stay eco friendly. The staff are amazing and most spoke English which was very helpful because I only knew some key French phrases. The vibe is low key and inviting. They have breakfast and coffee and a cool shop in lobby. Worth every dime. I would have paid more! Thanks you so much!"

"Loved the location! Notre Dame right across the street. Our room had a partial view- we looked straight on to the Seine. If we looked more to the right, we could see Notre Dame. Great location, and the cafe on the corner next door makes great galettes and crepes, and even gluten free options. The only thing that I can say wasn't great, was that you have to take one flight of stairs up to get to reception. The elevator doesn't go down to street level (floor "0"). "This was our second trip staying at Hotel Le Clos Medicis, a very nice hotel and a reasonable value in Paris. We enjoy the hotel and the area it is in, Luxembourg Gardens near the Odeon Theater. We will continue to stay here on future trips."

"Mustafa was working the front desk when we checked-in. He was enthusiastic and helped us to get oriented with the area, telling us how to reach the closest metro stations and showing us a nearby stairway to reach a local neighborhood plaza with lots of restaurants."

"Wonderful staff. Though like other places we stayed, wheelchair doesn’t fit in elevator (unless you take the feet off). Nor the bathroom doorway. Although great bathroom in lobby! Staff did put out a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance and left it there during our stay. Much appreciated! Beautiful and fun neighborhood to walk around. "

"Centrally located hotel in the Quartier Latin close to the Pantheon, Notre-Dame, Palais de Luxembourg, the Grande Mosquée, and many other sites. My single room was relatively small, but ok, had a narrow window balcony, and a modern bathroom. The corner shower was hard to get into though, since it opened on the corner. Getting into the shower definitely required a stomach squeeze! The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful with a mix of cold and warm items, satisfying local and international...

There are a million shopping and dining options close by, most of which are independently owned giving the neighborhood an authentic feel. And as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe.
