Playa Bonita
10/10 Excellent
"Good place for family relax."
HACIENDA MONARCAS RESORT
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, although our shower would not drain, and the water was not hot (in the shower only, likely just needs adjusted). They offered meals on-site for a small fee, honestly a very "normal" fee, but we did not eat there. The distance to the beach, or anything really, was the biggest downfall. I could only find 1 public beach access and it was terrible and about 30+ min away. The pool was nice, although I wish the pool bar was open, but understand how its not when there was only a few people in it. You can tell either this was going to be a very nice resort or a storm came through and wiped half of it out. I would definitely suggest coming to.check it out. The staff was friendly (spoke little English). Also, bring PESOS. very few places in the area accepted cards/USD. Staff at the restaurants are tipped in cash/usd only. Lastly - say hi to the cats for me. :)"

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Northern Sonora?
