"This is a fantastic hotel if you’re planning to be out during the day - the building noise was, at times, awful and there’s no other place to be able to work from. A day of no water (known but not advised until the morning of the supply issue, and then only a notice in the elevators) meant no flushing toilets and no hand washing facilities - no alternatives were offered. "We chose the property for the castle look. When we arrived we found a very clean and spacious room. Breakfast was fantastic and highly recommend it. It is so close to many restaurant options. Lots of places to sit and just enjoy right outside the hotel. If there is one negative, it is inability to park on site. The Parking isn’t far though and quickly forgotten once settled into your room. We stayed here by chance and scrolling but very happy we did!"

"Beautiful place, perfect for family vacation. Car is a must (9-10 minutes drive to the nearest town). The WIFI was sometimes unstable. Recommendation to management: add a full size mirror either at house entrance or one of the bedrooms."

"All staff were really helpful and the room was clean with unexpected extras like completely ear plugs, safe and a fridge with water, pop and a few snacks. A beautiful location in with canals and tourist attractions on the doorstep. Also a great base to get to Oosterhout parkrun. My room was a little tired with a cracked window and other mantinance bits with a steap staircase so not advisable for anyone with mobility isues but overall a great stay and would recommend and would stay again. X"

"The house had pleasing design features, the staff were friendly, the room was clean. However the second floor room we were given was very small with an angled low ceiling. The AC did not work effectively. The toilet was very near your bed. There was no room to unpack. It was not a “deluxe” room. Although we had paid for 5 days we checked out after 3. Unless you can get a first floor room, do not bother booking. "
