They truly need to exterminate the area. Our air conditioner did not work with the remote control. I called and had someone come and look at it. It worked one time and then not again. Could not turn it on/off, change setting or anything...I had to unplug the unit when the room was too cold. Bed...

"We booked the Amora Hotel just a few days before our stay. The room was spacious and clean for our family of four we only wish we had an ocean view but unfortunately all those rooms were booked due to our late booking. The pool is heated. The staff was great. Breakfast was included and was one of the best we've had in Brazil. The ocean water in front of the hotel is more for surfing than for swimming. "The staff is outstanding, very nice, super helpful , great service. The issue is here is that dining prices are from a Resort and this hotel, which is very good, can't be called a Resort. To me , 3 stars would fit better. definitely not a resort but good hotel with extremely nice staff."

"The hotel was located within a five minute walk from Maresias Beach. The area was quiet during the off season but nice. The staff weren't rude but also not very helpful. Our bathroom light was very finicky, it would only work when it wanted to, which was twice. They came to replace the bulb but it still wasn't working properly afterwards. Overall though, the hotel grounds are quite nice. The rooms could definitely use a better layout and the floors needed cleaning. It was definitely not a bad...
