"Basic but sufficient. Big room. Taxi able to stop directly in front of hotel. Breakfast spread is good with some local food included. Would be better if they control the people at the restaurant and not let people stand behind customer to wait for seats. Orz almost thought I am at hawker centre."

"Emergency Stairway was locked during the earthquake. Not appreciated using the elevator during a quake. Informed stafff about it but nobody bothered. "

"Location location. Right across from castle ground. Short taxi ride to spectacular gardens. Small, but tidy, clean and well organized. Staff was lovely, kind and accommodating. Rooftop viewing was sensational "

"We only stayed one night here but we had a great experience from check in to check out. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely restaurants in the area. We ate a delicious dinner at a Chinese restaurant in the Ginza area called Jang Jang Go. The inside of the restaurant was beautiful. Next to it was a Swiss bakery where we found treats to enjoy later. The most significant thing that happened during our stay was a 6.6 earthquake at 11:15 pm approximately 74 km away in the water...

"The management wasn't friendly, i told the miss manager the light in the room wasn't working properly ,she said we will check it out. I think she should offer proper conform to the customers. Also i was asking if i could leaves the car , until 12 . I could walk visit around come get back car . She wouldn't not backed off the policy. If you want a customer come back to your hotel train your staff be friendly able adjusted for small request. "

"Great location, just a 2-3min walk from Kumamoto Station/ Amu Plaza. We were blessed with a high floor twin room with good view of the city. Room is tight & would be tough to open up luggage but it was ok for us as we had couriered our large luggages to the next hotel. Beds were ok and the free breakfast was basic but adequate & yummy to me. Great value for the price."

"It’s a nice hotel, but there are a couple of things that they could improve! The location is close to the tram so I had no issues whatsoever. Staff was very nice and helpful and it’s nice not to do a check out (you have a code, no keys).
