"I have mixed feelings about this stay. It is hard not to compare it to other cottages I've stayed in while in Ireland at the same price point. Where there is a basic welcoming basket with bread, eggs, salt and pepper. There is nothing of the sort here. There were a lot of rules posted around that seemed a bit much compared to the condition of the cottage. The beds were not comfortable, but the bedding looked newer. "The Wild Honey Inn was as sweet as its name implies! Kate and her staff are wonderful! Service is excellent and I felt so welcomed and taken care of. The daily breakfast menu is sophisticated, with divine flavors and textures. Thanks to Kate’s husband’s menu selection and extraordinary food. The breakfast area is beautiful and it overlooks a magnificent garden. My room was lovely and very comfortable. I loved being there. So much more to share, so instead , come and check it out!
