Wow! Pretty much the best place I’ve ever stayed! If you want to stay in a ten room cottage on the water in the Irish country side where you can warm by a fire while eating a five star dinner than this is for you. The room looked like it was out of Bridgerton. Julian, the restaurant manager, made us feel like family and I hope to keep coming back

We were in a ground floor bedroom and the staff had a party and played loud music until 4am! We were not advised this would happen on check in or when we made our booking! The indoor salt water pool is not heated as advertised!!!! The spa / pool area was not cleaned either day that we were there. Wet towels were left everywhere.

Beautiful setting and lovely rooms. Missing some of the finesse that might be expected with a hotel of this kind. For example, a soaking towel left outside the spa for days left an impression of a lack of care. We had to ask the staff for the breakfast specials (French toast with bacon, which was really not very special at all), but the regular breakfast was great. Dinner was also fantastic. It would have been nice to be able to enjoy a post-dinner drink, but downdraft from the chimney filled the reception and drawing room with smoke both evenings, which made that a non-event. Appreciate there are difficulties with resources etc., in these times, but that isn't reflected in prices that guests are expected to pay, and small improvements would go a long way to improving the overall experience.

Beautiful country house hotel with full leisure facilities and also very easy access to sea swimming in the grounds of hotel. Great food with eccellent presentation. Would highly recommend for a quiet stay away in a scenic location with friendly staff
