Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and always very helpful, specially when we had an issue with the charging point for our car. They were able to fix it and did it always being so polite and friendly. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice/options. The location is just fantastic, the fact we wake up to the sound of birds is added bonus. The only thing I found could be improved: gym...

"Mycket fräscht boende i mysig omgivning med kanalen utanför köksfönstret. Gångavstånd till både affärer och restauranger i Akkrum och nära till andra orter i Friesland som Sneek, Giethoorn, Makkum, Afsluitdijk mm. Huset var rent och fräscht och bra utrustat. Enda nackdelen var att kuddarna var på tok för höga så svårt att sova gott! Tips, ta med egna kuddar!"

"This is a lovely hotel in a quiet part of Enkhuizen, in a mostly residential area. "Downtown"/the harbor area is about a 20 minute walk with some beautiful old houses along the way. Service was excellent, the rooms were spacious and modern and well-maintained and the breakfast area/lounge is very comfortable. The continental breakfast buffet was quite good with plenty of choices. I would definitely stay here again."

"Really liked many aspects of this hotel. I was there in the winter for a visit to one of the many yards that calls Makkum home. Restaurant and service was two highlights and the view from the room was great. Bed and bedding, not so much, the team would need to switch things up for me to sleep well with both feeling dated and bedding not fitting well to the bed. "
