The hotel is typical for the region with the added benefit of offering its guests complimentary admission to the Chiemgau Thermen (a regional wellness center with pools, spa & sauna) which we were able to take advantage of. Breakfast was a normal offering and was complete. The staff were very lovely and eager to assist if needed. They have a good functioning restaurant on site if you would like lunch or dinner. Parking can be an issue if the hotel is full. If...

"Stayed 2 nights. The bed was a little soft for my liking, but worked well. Breakfast was amazing, the view of the lake and surrounding area was fantastic. We walked to the ferry terminal which is about 1k (1/2 m) away. 4-5 dining options were also available near the terminal. The hot tub is outside the pool area, everything is very well kept. "

We know from experience that the weather would be warm in the area in July, so it was a primary basis for our selection. We were passing through and not really there for the spa or amenities, which were fair compared to American standards but probably above average for German standards."
