4 Star Hotels in Kandapola, Central Province

"Room was large and beds very comfortable. Hot water ran out in the morning so cold shower for friend. Food was varied and tasty at breakfast and evening meal. Lovely bar serving a variety of drinks and cocktails. Staff very friendly and helpful"

"Fantastic view and beautiful accommodation."

"Loved all of it!!!! This is a beautiful and mystical hotel with lovely gardens and fine dining. There were so many beautiful rooms and the staff were exceptional."

"good property "

"A very nice property although a bit run down, need of update including furnitures, we arrived late in the evening and found it very cold room we had to turn electric fire on and left it on right through the night, the food is average, no local shops near by, so you will need tuk tuk, staff are great, friendly and very helpful. "Nice place, but quite pricey for what you get. Maybe Ella is just a bit overpriced at this point… :) The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!! Location was good a bit outside of the busy Ella town. Quiet and peaceful. Only negative thing was that the walls to our room were very thin so we had to use earplugs to sleep, but it was ok for us :)"

"Truly an amazing stay - all the staff were wonderful (Shan was great and very helpful!). Food was wonderful and it was the perfect rest we needed."

"The stray was wonderful.. location is beautiful ."

"English style room and hotel, decor was lovely and staff were great. "

"Very nice hotel with good restaurant "

"Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...

"Beautiful building and gardens. Rooms were clean and comfortable and hotel in a great location. Extensive buffet breakfast and super helpful staff. "

"Very nice to stay! Highly recommend."

"Think Fresh Prince of Bell Air, Think Jetwings Bungalow. Sanath is your very own Uncle Geoff, there's very little that man can't do. Food is impeccable, service is attentive and the setting is of a colonial home. It truly is nostalgia magnified."

"The room and balcony were excellent. I particularly liked the tea-making facilities in the room. The quality and selection of food in the evening and breakfast buffets was also very good, and the staff if anything were too attentive. Check-in was very lengthy but we appreciated the hot chocolate while we waited. The worst thing about the hotel is its location, about 3 miles from town. Even though we stayed over the Sinhalese new year, the whole place was strangely lacking in atmosphere -...

"Great hotel with stunning mountain views. Nice and secluded - perfect for relaxation. Attentive service and great food. "

"Stayed here for 1 night but it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, location of the hotel relative to the touristy attractions was fantastic. The breakfast was a la carte but on point, room was decent sized and clean too. Gave us nothing to complain about. 9/10 and would highly recommend."

"This property is meticulous and staff is so attentive. Beautiful surrounding and views!"
