"The VCH Hotel am Schlosspark is seperated into two parts - an old building and a new one. We stayed in the new building with modern and clean rooms. Good room amenities - you can find everything you need. Friendly staff and good service on the front-desk. The hotel is located in the Center of the city. We highly can recommend this nice hotel. "the hotel was in an ideal location. paid for a room with a balcony but was allocated a ground floor room with a balcony that was overlooked by a car park so that was disappointing and not what i expected. room was nice though and although a little basic was very clean, comfy and practical"

Hotel is nicely situated with only a short walk in to town. Arnstadt has a beautiful old town centre with a great cafe opposite the Rathaus for afternoon coffee and strudel / ice cream sundaes etc . One of the few places open on Sunday. Nice place to stay for three or four days at least."

"Das ganze ist eher eine Unterkunft, als wie ein Hotel. Hätte das niemals gebucht, wenn ich im Vorfeld gewusst hätte, daß diese Unterkunft eher 2 als wie 4 Sterne verdient hat. Das angebliche Frühstücksbuffet, ist eine Lachnummer. Zum Beispiel, die Brötchen sind eingefrorene, selbst aufgebacken, Körnerbrötchen waren immer schnellvergriffen. Brot lagen paar Scheiben daneben.
