"Friendly and welcoming staff at hotel reception but somewhat rude at the hotel restaurant. We stayed over the weekend and it was really noisy at night because of the restaurants around and loud hotel guests. The gym is tiny and in the basement, next to the restaurant bathrooms; it turned me down to use it. Getting in and out of the parking is a hurdle since you have to get the access code to the garage elevator from the Vine hotel. Overall, it is an instagrammable hotel but not one I will return...

"A great stay at this lovely hotel. The bus stop is directly outside of the hotel so it is very easy to get to the town on Funchal. If you don't want to venture out there is plenty for ou to do with indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, lounging areas, bars and restaurants. The spa was lovely. "

"The stay was a romantic getaway. The hotel has a great location I would definitely go back but only in the summer time. The biggest attraction are the natural pools which were closed due to weather. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly but it’s super outdated and the food options were not great "

We dropped our things off in our room and just loved the look of the room and the fact that they had towels available in the room to use for the pools. "We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and spotless, with views over the sea - beautiful! The hotel is located near lots of great restaurants and has a bus stop nearby to easily get around Funchal. The car park is fairly small but we had no issues finding a space for three nights. We'd definitely recommend the hotel."

"I liked the option of purchasing the dinner Buffett while I was there. After exploring all day it was nice to just go downstairs and enjoy the wide selection of food. I also enjoyed the bus stop right in front of the hotel that was easy to use. Everyone was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "We had an absolutely perfect stay at Pestana Promenade! The rooms are lovely and spacious. The only thing that bugged me was the big arch blocking our view of the sea partially. Hotel is situated on the promenade of Ponta Da Sol and takes up about 2/3rds of it. It’s been built in a sympathetic style to fit in with the local area.
