"Situated on shore in a central location with many restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Room was fine, if basic. Hotel has a small parking lots a few hundred meters distant. On street parking looks doable. The hotel offered a nice farewell gift. Overall, pleasant. It undoubtedly will be nicer when weather is warmer, the pool is usable, and the activity on the shore is busier. "

The units are clean, comfortable, and we were nicely set up with a single villa using the lower level for our two kids. Do sign up for the breakfast---it was delicious, the best we had in Greece. The staff is welcoming and even shows up with tasty treats."

However we had an issue with the cleaniness and overall maintenance. The bathroom needs urgent maintenance, since the shower head is broken and it almost comes off the wall. We stayed 4 nights. "Thalori is incredible - the best part of our trip to Crete. It's very peaceful and far from nearby towns, so if you're a fan of places like Matala, you probably will not enjoy Thalori. We did not try their activities, but spent our time gazing at the mountains and stars, reading, and listening to the sheep bells. It was also the best food we had in our entire stay in Greece.
