"Perfect location. Easy Self checkin-in. Friendly owners whom went out of their way to bring us a grand breakfast as we had a competition, so we left 45mins before breakfast started. "We enjoyed our stay at the hotel finely. We did unfortunately have to change rooms due to a buzzing noise from the refrigeration system. Fortunately, this went easily and we were upgraded to one of the suites. It should be mentioned that the front of the hotel and restaurant 1937 both look fantastic but the experience towards and in the rooms is authentic and somewhat dated."

"The hotel looks very nice and is 10 minutes drive from the lovely town of Oodorp. On arrival I and a couple waited for some time but nobody at reception. Eventually a young lady arrived but when checking in we were told that the restaurants were closed. It was -5C outside so I did not fancy a 30 min walk into town and I was looking forward to a glass of wine with my meal so I drove to an Aldi and bought tapas to eat and a bottle of wine. I decided to be sociable so at 1930 I went down to the bar...

"This is an absolutely beautiful “Boutique” Hotel overlooking the main canal going through Middelburg. The train station is on the other side of the canal offering easy access to hotel and bike rentals. The rooms and entire hotel were spotless with modern spacious rooms. Nice buffet breakfast with dining room also overlooking the canal. We enjoyed the outside on street patio with heaters which were perfect to sit out at night. "Staff are great. Very welcoming and efficient. Food is great too. Shame the bar and the terrace cannot open at the same time."

"We were travelling up the coast road and the location suited us. It is a little remote, but set along a nice piece of coast. We had a two room apartment which was excellent. Both dinner and breakfast we good. The staff on Reception and in the restaurant were very helpful. "

"The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment but even the older rooms are of a good standard. Friendly, helpful staff. Car parking is across the road at the station but the daily rate is acceptable. Handy for the rail station. 10 minutes walk into the centre of town. I will use this place again. "
