"Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."

"The room was large & cleaned everyday. Staff was friendly & helped get the bags to the room. On checkin there was only 1 towel & 1 water in the room but after a phone call housekeeping quickly brought the 2nd. Tishan is an excellent front desk rep. Super friendly, thorough & helpful. My booking said free breakfast which they don't do anymore but he honored it & put a note in our reservation so it wouldn't be an issue at checkout, and it wasn't. "Overall our one night stay was great from the welcoming staff and refreshing fruit punch on arrival to lounging by the pool and the dining service of Damion. The quinoa salad and snapper catch of the day were divine. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom is well appointed. The balcony view was beautiful and the sound of crashing waves was very calming. Of note, the only negative was that one elevator was out of service and the other was not operational from the ground floor. The staff had to walk up the stairs to 1st floor to being the elevator down to Ground floor. We would stay here again. "
